# FracPad Lite vs Eventide Control

The clearest difference is rating: FracPad Lite at 5.0 against Eventide Control's 2.8. FracPad Lite also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Eventide Control's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1) and review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FracPad Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Eventide Control has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of FracPad Lite's written reviews are positive against 25% of Eventide Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
