# Ant Simulation 3D vs Virtual Duck Life Simulator

The clearest difference is rating: Virtual Duck Life Simulator at 4.4 against Ant Simulation 3D's 3.8. Virtual Duck Life Simulator also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 482). Ant Simulation 3D's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 33%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ant Simulation 3D sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Virtual Duck Life Simulator sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Virtual Duck Life Simulator holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Duck Life Simulator has 2.8K ratings behind it against 482, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Ant Simulation 3D's written reviews are positive against 33% of Virtual Duck Life Simulator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ant Simulation 3D ships an update every 9 months, Virtual Duck Life Simulator fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
