# 伴鱼绘本 vs 步步阅读

伴鱼绘本 and 步步阅读 both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of 步步阅读's written reviews are positive against 62% of 伴鱼绘本's. 伴鱼绘本's advantage is ratings volume (3.5K vs 18) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 伴鱼绘本 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and 步步阅读 sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for 伴鱼绘本 against 4.7 for 步步阅读. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 伴鱼绘本 has 3.5K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of 伴鱼绘本's written reviews are positive against 100% of 步步阅读's.

伴鱼绘本 ships an update every 10 days, 步步阅读 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
