# 伴鱼绘本 vs 竹子阅读

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 竹子阅读 at 90% against 伴鱼绘本's 62%. 伴鱼绘本's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 伴鱼绘本 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month and 竹子阅读 sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

伴鱼绘本 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 伴鱼绘本 has 3.5K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of 伴鱼绘本's written reviews are positive against 90% of 竹子阅读's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

伴鱼绘本 ships an update every 10 days, 竹子阅读 every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
