# TAG vs FireTek

The clearest difference is rating: TAG at 5.0 against FireTek's 3.5. TAG also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). FireTek's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TAG holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FireTek has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TAG ships an update every 11 months, FireTek weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
