# Wallpaper Maker vs ConvertCalc

The clearest difference is update cadence: ConvertCalc at every 8 days against Wallpaper Maker's every 3 months. ConvertCalc also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). Wallpaper Maker's advantage is ratings volume (127 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wallpaper Maker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ConvertCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ConvertCalc holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wallpaper Maker has 127 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Wallpaper Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of ConvertCalc's.

Wallpaper Maker ships an update every 3 months, ConvertCalc every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
