# EESpeech Chat vs Buzzlet

The clearest difference is rating: Buzzlet at 5.0 against EESpeech Chat's 4.3. Buzzlet also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). EESpeech Chat's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EESpeech Chat sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Buzzlet sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Buzzlet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EESpeech Chat has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EESpeech Chat ships an update every 3 months, Buzzlet every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
