# Basma vs UULA

The clearest difference is rating: UULA at 4.7 against Basma's 3.7. UULA also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 57). Basma's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basma sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and UULA sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UULA holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UULA has 6.8K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Basma's written reviews are positive against 95% of UULA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basma ships an update every 3 weeks, UULA fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
