# Basma vs Drasti

The clearest difference is rating: Drasti at 4.5 against Basma's 3.7. Drasti also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). Basma's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Basma sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Drasti asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drasti holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drasti has 320 ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Basma's written reviews are positive against 90% of Drasti's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Basma ships an update every 2 weeks, Drasti every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
