# Power Bob vs NuWave Connect

The clearest difference is rating: NuWave Connect at 4.4 against Power Bob's 2.6. NuWave Connect also leads on ratings volume (618 vs 35). Power Bob's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (23% vs 13%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NuWave Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NuWave Connect has 618 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Power Bob's written reviews are positive against 13% of NuWave Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Power Bob ships an update every 2 weeks, NuWave Connect every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
