# EasyPlayerPro vs Uni TV Remote

EasyPlayerPro and Uni TV Remote both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of EasyPlayerPro's written reviews are positive against 36% of Uni TV Remote's. EasyPlayerPro also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Uni TV Remote's advantage is ratings volume (457 vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Uni TV Remote holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Uni TV Remote has 457 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EasyPlayerPro's written reviews are positive against 36% of Uni TV Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EasyPlayerPro ships an update every 3 months, Uni TV Remote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
