# MotionBook vs Tokenman

The clearest difference is rating: Tokenman at 5.0 against MotionBook's 4.2. MotionBook's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MotionBook sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Tokenman sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tokenman holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MotionBook has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MotionBook ships an update every 8 days, Tokenman every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
