# Ultimate Comic Reader vs Bang

The clearest difference is rating: Bang at 4.7 against Ultimate Comic Reader's 3.0. Bang also leads on review sentiment (61% vs 20%) and ratings volume (73 vs 2). Ultimate Comic Reader's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ultimate Comic Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bang sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Bang holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bang has 73 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Ultimate Comic Reader's written reviews are positive against 61% of Bang's.
