# Pick 'n Save vs Pic

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pick 'n Save at weekly against Pic's every 2 months. Pick 'n Save also leads on ratings volume (29K vs 74). Pic's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Pick 'n Save against 4.6 for Pic. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pick 'n Save has 29K ratings behind it against 74, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pick 'n Save ships an update weekly, Pic every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
