# Kanopy vs ImmerSphere

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Kanopy at 153K against ImmerSphere's 5. Kanopy also leads on chart position (#156 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 2). ImmerSphere's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ImmerSphere holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kanopy has 153K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Kanopy ships an update every 2 weeks, ImmerSphere every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
