# Fidget Spinner vs Hand Control

The clearest difference is rating: Hand Control at 4.5 against Fidget Spinner's 4.1. Hand Control also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (742 vs 26). Fidget Spinner's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fidget Spinner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hand Control sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hand Control holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hand Control has 742 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Fidget Spinner's written reviews are positive against 45% of Hand Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fidget Spinner ships an update every 3 months, Hand Control every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
