# Blue Sniff vs Found

Blue Sniff and Found both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 57% of Blue Sniff's written reviews are positive against 21% of Found's. Blue Sniff also leads on ratings volume (378 vs 15) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Found's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 30 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blue Sniff sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Found sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Found holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blue Sniff has 378 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Blue Sniff's written reviews are positive against 21% of Found's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Blue Sniff ships an update every 30 months, Found weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
