# ToDoリストにもなるメモアプリ vs Simple Notes

The clearest difference is rating: Simple Notes at 4.6 against ToDoリストにもなるメモアプリ's 3.0. Simple Notes also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDoリストにもなるメモアプリ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simple Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Simple Notes holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notes has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
