# YahaLive vs Notchify

The clearest difference is ads: Notchify at none against YahaLive's shown. Notchify also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 56%). YahaLive's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (205 vs 11). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YahaLive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notchify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YahaLive holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YahaLive has 205 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of YahaLive's written reviews are positive against 75% of Notchify's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YahaLive ships an update monthly, Notchify every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
