# River Forest CC vs Wagoneer

The clearest difference is monetization model: River Forest CC at free against Wagoneer's free with in-app purchases. Wagoneer's advantage is ratings volume (12K vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 3 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for River Forest CC against 4.9 for Wagoneer. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wagoneer has 12K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

River Forest CC ships an update every 3 months, Wagoneer monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
