# Bark for Professionals vs AURA Responder

The clearest difference is rating: AURA Responder at 5.0 against Bark for Professionals's 4.2. AURA Responder also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). Bark for Professionals's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 1) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, ads, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bark for Professionals sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. AURA Responder asks for nothing beyond the download.

AURA Responder holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bark for Professionals has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Bark for Professionals's written reviews are positive against 0% of AURA Responder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Bark for Professionals ships an update every 8 days, AURA Responder monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
