# REMI vs Scouting

REMI and Scouting both sit at 2.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 77% of REMI's written reviews are positive against 13% of Scouting's. REMI also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). Scouting's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16) and ratings volume (930 vs 26). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. REMI sells 16 one-off in-app purchases. Scouting asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.0 for REMI against 2.0 for Scouting. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scouting has 930 ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 77% of REMI's written reviews are positive against 13% of Scouting's.

REMI ships an update every 3 weeks, Scouting fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
