# GW2 Assistant vs ExileView

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: GW2 Assistant at none against ExileView's 10. GW2 Assistant also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.9) and device support (3 vs 1). ExileView's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ExileView sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. GW2 Assistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

GW2 Assistant holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 14 and 15 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of GW2 Assistant's written reviews are positive against 100% of ExileView's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GW2 Assistant ships an update every 2 months, ExileView every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
