# Flat Pack vs Mimelet

The clearest difference is rating: Flat Pack at 4.7 against Mimelet's 3.9. Flat Pack also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 94). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flat Pack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mimelet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flat Pack holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flat Pack has 4.4K ratings behind it against 94, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 85% of Flat Pack's written reviews are positive against 79% of Mimelet's.

Flat Pack ships an update weekly, Mimelet every 10 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
