# ClayCraft vs Mac + MacBook User

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mac + MacBook User at 100% against ClayCraft's 60%. ClayCraft's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 12 months vs every 25 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClayCraft sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Mac + MacBook User sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClayCraft holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 13 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of ClayCraft's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mac + MacBook User's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ClayCraft ships an update every 12 months, Mac + MacBook User every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on August 15, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
