# Beat Station vs Snareobics

The clearest difference is monetization model: Snareobics at free with in-app purchases against Beat Station's subscription. Snareobics also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 64%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beat Station sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Snareobics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
