# Simple Notepad vs MemoP

Simple Notepad and MemoP both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of MemoP's written reviews are positive against 68% of Simple Notepad's. MemoP also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Simple Notepad's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 28). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notepad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and MemoP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Simple Notepad against 4.5 for MemoP. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notepad has 2.8K ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two.
