# Simple Notepad vs Sticky Notes

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sticky Notes at weekly against Simple Notepad's every 3 weeks. Simple Notepad's advantage is ratings volume (2.8K vs 501) and review sentiment (68% vs 60%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Simple Notepad sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month and Sticky Notes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Simple Notepad against 4.6 for Sticky Notes. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Notepad has 2.8K ratings behind it against 501, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of Simple Notepad's written reviews are positive against 60% of Sticky Notes's.

Simple Notepad ships an update every 3 weeks, Sticky Notes weekly. Both last shipped on October 11, 2026.
