# ProofHub vs Plaky

The clearest difference is rating: Plaky at 4.2 against ProofHub's 3.4. ProofHub's advantage is review sentiment (23% vs 0%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Plaky holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 71 and 16 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of ProofHub's written reviews are positive against 0% of Plaky's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ProofHub ships an update fortnightly, Plaky every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
