# iLovePDF vs PDF Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iLovePDF at 77% against PDF Scanner's 33%. iLovePDF also leads on rating (4.8 vs 1.0) and ratings volume (52K vs 2). PDF Scanner's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLovePDF sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month and PDF Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
