# iLovePDF vs Cloud Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: iLovePDF at 4.8 against Cloud Scanner's 4.0. iLovePDF also leads on ratings volume (52K vs 18). Cloud Scanner's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iLovePDF sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month. Cloud Scanner asks for nothing beyond the download.
