# FlowRec vs FrameTwin

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FrameTwin at 100% against FlowRec's 55%. FrameTwin also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). FlowRec's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs paid) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FlowRec sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FrameTwin sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FrameTwin holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlowRec has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 55% of FlowRec's written reviews are positive against 100% of FrameTwin's.

FlowRec ships an update every 2 months, FrameTwin every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
