# Duffy vs Cudex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cudex at every 5 days against Duffy's every 5 months. Duffy's advantage is iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Duffy sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Cudex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Duffy ships an update every 5 months, Cudex every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
