# Trackster vs Shelinks

The clearest difference is rating: Trackster at 4.5 against Shelinks's 3.0. Trackster also leads on ratings volume (265 vs 2). Shelinks's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trackster holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trackster has 265 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Trackster's written reviews are positive against 100% of Shelinks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trackster ships an update every 6 weeks, Shelinks monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
