# iDub2 vs Silli

The clearest difference is update cadence: Silli at every 9 days against iDub2's every 6 months. iDub2's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDub2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Silli sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iDub2 ships an update every 6 months, Silli every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
