# iDub2 vs Erasa

The clearest difference is ads: iDub2 at none against Erasa's shown. iDub2 also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Erasa's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iDub2 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Erasa sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iDub2 ships an update every 6 months, Erasa weekly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
