# ResearchGate vs PS Remember

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PS Remember at 100% against ResearchGate's 46%. PS Remember also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). ResearchGate's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PS Remember holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ResearchGate has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. ResearchGate ships an update every 5 weeks, PS Remember every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
