# OBD Plus vs Viecar

The clearest difference is rating: Viecar at 4.0 against OBD Plus's 3.3. OBD Plus's advantage is ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Viecar holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of OBD Plus's written reviews are positive against 20% of Viecar's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
