# Virtual Vision Test vs Opto

The clearest difference is rating: Virtual Vision Test at 4.8 against Opto's 3.0. Virtual Vision Test also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (19K vs 2). Opto's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 32%). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Opto sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month. Virtual Vision Test asks for nothing beyond the download.

Virtual Vision Test holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Virtual Vision Test has 19K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Virtual Vision Test's written reviews are positive against 50% of Opto's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
