# AlwaysOn Mobile App vs OLEDX

The clearest difference is rating: OLEDX at 4.6 against AlwaysOn Mobile App's 4.0. OLEDX also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 11). AlwaysOn Mobile App's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 10 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OLEDX sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. AlwaysOn Mobile App asks for nothing beyond the download.

OLEDX holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OLEDX has 5.2K ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AlwaysOn Mobile App ships an update every 5 weeks, OLEDX every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
