# Swimmetry vs Swimnerd Coach

The clearest difference is rating: Swimnerd Coach at 5.0 against Swimmetry's 2.9. Swimmetry's advantage is ratings volume (234 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swimmetry sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Swimnerd Coach sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Swimnerd Coach holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swimmetry has 234 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Swimmetry ships an update fortnightly, Swimnerd Coach every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 23, 2026 respectively.
