# GSM controller vs Briton CCTV Pro

The clearest difference is rating: GSM controller at 5.0 against Briton CCTV Pro's 3.7. GSM controller also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). Briton CCTV Pro's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 14 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GSM controller holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Briton CCTV Pro has 63 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of GSM controller's written reviews are positive against 27% of Briton CCTV Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GSM controller ships an update every 14 months, Briton CCTV Pro every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
