# Escape #4 vs Horror Escape

The clearest difference is rating: Horror Escape at 4.3 against Escape #4's 3.4. Horror Escape also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (470 vs 5). Escape #4's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and review sentiment (83% vs 73%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Horror Escape sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Escape #4 asks for nothing beyond the download.

Horror Escape holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Horror Escape has 470 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Escape #4's written reviews are positive against 73% of Horror Escape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
