# SMART vs Pet_Finder

The clearest difference is update cadence: SMART at every 10 days against Pet_Finder's every 2 months. SMART also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SMART ships an update every 10 days, Pet_Finder every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
