# SMART vs Go

The clearest difference is rating: Go at 5.0 against SMART's 4.0. SMART's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Go holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SMART has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SMART ships an update every 10 days, Go weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
