# Live Chat vs Only Chats

The clearest difference is rating: Live Chat at 3.5 against Only Chats's 3.0. Live Chat also leads on ratings volume (132 vs 2). Only Chats's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Live Chat holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Chat has 132 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Chat ships an update every 2 weeks, Only Chats every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
