# Live Chat vs Minglee

The clearest difference is rating: Minglee at 5.0 against Live Chat's 3.5. Minglee also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Live Chat's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (129 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Minglee holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Chat has 129 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Chat ships an update every 2 weeks, Minglee every 11 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
