# Live Chat vs Hiliree

The clearest difference is rating: Hiliree at 5.0 against Live Chat's 3.5. Hiliree also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Live Chat's advantage is ratings volume (132 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hiliree holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Live Chat has 132 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Live Chat ships an update every 2 weeks, Hiliree monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
