# Caffè Nero vs Maczfit

The clearest difference is rating: Maczfit at 4.4 against Caffè Nero's 3.7. Maczfit also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Caffè Nero's advantage is ratings volume (690 vs 24) and review sentiment (38% vs 21%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Maczfit holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Caffè Nero has 690 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Caffè Nero's written reviews are positive against 21% of Maczfit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Caffè Nero ships an update every 2 weeks, Maczfit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
