# Life Alive vs Nutré

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nutré at 100% against Life Alive's 34%. Nutré also leads on rating (4.9 vs 2.7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). Life Alive's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 12). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nutré holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Life Alive has 95 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of Life Alive's written reviews are positive against 100% of Nutré's.

Life Alive ships an update monthly, Nutré fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
